ummm tbh i think that representing the twins’ ro.mani side is a bit more important (in my jewish opinion) bc it is the one indisputable fact about them as characters??? in the past i know I’ve said I think it would be okay to use FCs that r just jewish for them but honestly i don’t agree w myself on that anymore bc I really think it is the most important to keep their ro.mani roots at the center above all else
not to say their jewish ties aren’t important (they are extremely important to me, obviously lol) but with how much ro.mani representation has been erased (esp in marvel), using an assimilated white jewish FC still feels like erasure to me
like aa.ron tay.lor jo.hnson is jewish but regardless of that he is definitely not appropriate for pietro and i feel that also applies to joaquin
